Wear your rights
Around the world, governments are seemingly undermining the human right to protest, often resulting in arrests of protestors. When arrested by police, the one thing that cannot be taken away from you is your clothing. This is where Empowearing comes in, where fashion meets justice.
Empowearing designs clothing containing an explanation of the fundamental rights one is entitled to so that those protesting can confidently identify and defend them before, during and after arrest. As the startup expands, the goal is to develop wearables for a range of justice issues including IP rights for creatives, housing rights for students and anti-discrimination rights for LGBTQIA+ communities.
Are you interested in collaborating with Empowearing or joining their team? They are primarily seeking financial support and legal assistance for the establishment of direct access to a lawyer. Connect with the founders today and follow Empowearing on Instagram and LinkedIn.
